Brad Vollmar

BS, Fisheries Management & Ecology

Brad Vollmar started Vollmar Pond & Lake Management in 2003, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Management and Ecology from Texas A&M University College Station.

He has two years experience in catfish aquaculture and 22 years in applied fisheries management. He also has 6 years experience in hydrology including floodplain delineation, floodplain modeling, floodplain management, and floodplain/construction surveying.

He is a former Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). Brad Vollmar is a member of the Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, Aquatic Plant Management Society, Texas Aquatic Plant Management Society, and Texas Aquaculture Association.

Brad is licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture as a commercial aquatic pesticide applicator and is a permitted triploid grass carp vendor by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Brad is a native resident of Fredericksburg, Texas where he resides with his wife, Chanda, they have 5 children.

Brad enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, watching his girls play soccer, he loves Catholic Apologetics, he is a do-it-yourselfer, he loves fish biology (it's just amazing!), he also loves history, he loves flying large sport kites, and he loves spending time at their family place in Matagorda

Brian Donoghue is a committed professional with a passion for agriculture and the environment. He has built his career around his love for nature. After graduating from Fresno State University with a focus on viticulture, he gained valuable experience as an assistant vineyard manager, where he developed skills in vineyard care, grape production, and sustainable practices. Recently, Brian made the transition to pond and lake management, a role that perfectly combines his love for nature and his commitment to maintaining healthy ecosystems. He is excited about this new opportunity and takes pride in preserving thriving environments.
